This is a clamping solution which permits the smooth adjustment of the position of the cutters in relation to each other within the range 0\u20135 mm. The PSS system is particularly advantageous for the series production of parts with tongue-and-groove joints, where high accuracy is required to produce replicable parts. The PSS system compensates for uneven rotational movement in machine spindles, i.e. so-called run-out.
