Knives
GENERAL INFORMATION
We make a wide range of knives for straight and profile carpentry heads, as well as knives for planing heads, working in four-side planers and spindle milling machines, routers and CNC centres. Standard knives, profile knives, planning knives, corrugated knives and the TERSA system are available. Our knives are manufactured from the highest-grade HSS steel and sintered carbide, using special heat treatment and profiling technology. Depending on our customers’ needs, we select the optimal HSS knives, solid-carbide knives, or knives with brazed-carbide inserts.
We deliver individual orders for non-standard lengths of knives and any shapes. Clearance angles, profile and side tangential angles are precisely matched to the type of material to be machined and the prevailing conditions during machining. The properly selected carbide grade contributes to increased accuracy and replicability of machining. Advanced technology and ongoing dimension and shape checks during the process ensure full replicability of production.

Application:
When ordering straight knives, please specify the knife height (H), total length (L), thickness (S), the spacing of holes (a) and the type of machined material. When ordering profile knives, please specify the exact geometry of the head (rake angle, axial angle, tool diameter, knife height, exact profile of the workpiece) or provide a model knife.
